QB Power Hour is a free, biweekly webinar series for Accountants, ProAdvisors, CPAs, Bookkeepers and QuickBooks Consultants presented by Michelle Long, CPA whom is very passionate about the industry, QuickBooks and apps that integrate with QuickBooks.  The webinars are live every other Thursday at 12:00pm EST with the recording posted in the archives.  You must attend the LIVE webinar for CPE credit (i.e no credit for watching the recording).

In the QB Power Hour webinars, we will explore the proper and optimized use of both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks desktop (i.e. Pro, Premier, Mac, Accountant, or Enterprise).  Whichever version of QuickBooks you use, you will enjoy our powerful tips and tricks!  Plus, we’ll have selected 3rd party apps, management practice topics (like value pricing) and more!

We will post the general topics.. but will never really know if its going to be 100% QBO or 100% Desktop… So far, we have not missed a beat and always included around 50/50

Hi We missed the beginning of the 02/19/15 presentation and would love to listen to it. When will you be posting it under previous webinars. Definitely learn something everytime we attend.

  26. Marily Haugh says:

Hi – Can someone give me a work around to file quarterly payroll reports in an accountant’s copy? If we have to convert to a working copy to file do we have to give our client a back up copy for them to restore? How else will they import our changes?

This seems nuts – shouldn’t accountants be allowed to file their client’s reports after review? I called QB support and they could not really help me……..Thanks, Marilyn Haugh

  27. zhao says:

I am interested in managing fix assets on the book. Could you guys set up a webinar talking about that? Thanks.

  28. Edward Wear says:

I was trying to view and listen to your webinar today, but I could not find a url. Based on what I read, you probably had too many registered and the url disappeared. I attended one the early ones and am very pleased to see that all the previous webinars are available on line. Thank you. But I would like to participate in the next one. How can I do that?

  29. Refer your program to my colleague Hector and Michelle.

  30. Alice says:

I wanted more information before registering, so I checked out the Power Hour website. It’s difficult imagine that anyone who professes to an expert in any field would publish web pages with such horrible grammar. I am embarrassed for you.

Just wanted to say THANKS to both of you for spending your valuable time to keep us in tune!

  39. Cheri says:

I have a client that has their credit card set up as a bank type in QBO so instead of showing as a liability it is showing as an asset account. I need to fix this and wanted to find out before I do once I change the type to a liability is there any issue that could come about by doing this?
    Thank you,

  40. Amanda says:

I currently watched the Job Costing for QBO from 9/8 I got great info from it. Let me tell you a little about our Construction co & then ask my question. We use on 1099 subs & as far as setting up Products/ services nothing is one set price. Every job is estimated differently. So i see how to apply materials to the customer. But how do you get it to the specific job. For instance. I may have 100 invoices for one apartment complex. How do get it to show materials / sub labor for each invoice/ job completed at that complex. So we can see profit/loss on each job. If I do it the way you instructed it just throws all expenses under one customer. Just another note that may help you understand my question: I have Signature Management set up as Customer but then i have 12 different apartment complexes set up as sub customers under Signature Management. When we set up estimates we choose our sub customer: which is job location, then invoice it out. I need to get expenses put to that particular invoice not necessarily to the Customer/Sub because then you cant tell what expense goes to what individual invoice. Hope this make sense, Im just trying to make the boss happy & I kinda don’t have a clue what to do.

  41. Kathy Suntato says:

Why are none of the seminars listed as ACE anymore?

  42. Kim Harris says:

Is there a way that I can get some of the slides from previous webinars?

  43. Amanda says:

I’m looking for more info on WIP for Enterprise DT. I have a company who makes steel products out of raw material and are wanting to track EVERYTHING through WIP. Can you point me to the right direction?

    Thanks a bunch!!!

    • Hector Garcia, CPA says:

      the videos were not helpful?

    • Why do you think that WIP (work in progress) is the appropriate account to track items that are using in manufacturing? Most of my manufacturing clients in Enterprise in “always sunny” Seattle track them in some form of inventory account if they make and store the item for later resale. Have you thought about using some third party add-ons?

  44. Jacqueline Raymo says:

How can I find the ACE sessions for 2018?
